Why Register with CQC Jobs?

We only work with employers who take compliance seriously. Every role we present is in a setting that meets regulatory standards — organisations you can be confident about joining. No guesswork. No unpleasant surprises on day one.

Most recruitment agencies treat care jobs the same way they treat any other sector. We don't. We understand what a poor placement means in a regulated care environment — for you, for residents, for service users. That's why we vet employers before we ever put a candidate in front of them.

Roles Matched to You

We don't fire CVs at every vacancy. We understand your experience, preferred setting, and career goals before approaching a single employer on your behalf.

Quality-Regulated Employers Only

Every employer has been through our onboarding process. You will not be placed into a setting with unresolved CQC action plans or outstanding Ofsted concerns.

Permanent Positions Only

We focus exclusively on permanent roles — stable employment with the security that care professionals deserve. We do not place agency or temporary staff.

Honest, Direct Communication

You will know where your application stands at every stage. No chasing, no silence, no vague timelines.

Free CV Coaching Included

Every registered candidate can access our free CV coaching service, specifically tailored for CQC-regulated roles.

Interview Preparation

Our interview preparation resource covers care-specific questions, CQC regulatory knowledge expectations, and presentation guidance for senior roles.

What Happens When You Register?

From registration to placement, we keep things simple and transparent. Here's exactly what to expect.

  1. Register Your Interest

Complete our short registration form or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your role, your experience, your preferred location, and the kind of setting you want to work in. No lengthy forms. No unnecessary questions.

  2. Consultant Conversation

A consultant will speak with you directly — not a chatbot, not an automated screening. We want to understand your career goals and the kind of employer culture that suits you. This shapes every decision we make on your behalf.

  3. CV Review & Compliance Preparation

We'll review your CV and, if needed, offer guidance through our free CV coaching service. We'll also discuss compliance requirements — DBS checks, professional registrations, right-to-work documentation — so there are no delays when an offer comes through.

  4. Role Matching & Employer Approach

We identify suitable permanent roles within our employer network and approach employers on your behalf. You won't be submitted to roles without your knowledge. Every approach is discussed with you first.

  5. Interview Support & Placement

We'll prepare you for the interview, brief you on the employer, and debrief with you afterwards. Once an offer is made, we support you through the onboarding process and remain available if any questions arise.

What Compliance Checks Are Involved?

Regulated care roles come with non-negotiable compliance requirements. We're upfront about that from day one — and we guide you through every step so it never becomes a barrier to a placement.

Enhanced DBS Check

Required for all roles involving direct contact with children, adults with care needs, or vulnerable individuals. We'll advise on whether your existing DBS certificate is portable or whether a new application is needed.

Right to Work in the UK

All candidates must provide evidence of their right to work in the United Kingdom. We'll confirm exactly which documents are required at the point of registration.

Professional Registration

Nursing roles require active NMC registration. Registered Managers must hold, or be eligible to hold, a registration with CQC. Social work roles require Social Work England registration. We verify all professional registrations as part of our process.

Employment References

All candidates require a minimum of two employment references covering the most recent three years. For regulated positions, at least one reference must be from a direct line manager in a care or health setting.

Qualification Evidence

Depending on the role, you may need to evidence qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent. We'll confirm requirements specific to the roles you're being considered for.

Occupational Health

Some employers require an occupational health assessment or evidence of immunisation. Where this applies, your employer will arrange it as part of their onboarding process.

Care Jobs Across the Full Regulated Spectrum

We recruit across CQC-regulated adult care services and Ofsted-regulated children's settings. Whether you are a Registered Manager looking for your next leadership role, a nurse considering a move into residential care, or an experienced support worker ready for a stable permanent position — we recruit across the full spectrum.
